Dear Ride Drive,
I have a 1997 TVR Chimera 450. A couple of days ago I suffered a complete loss of power and the car then refused to start.
It appears the fuel pump is not kicking in when the alarm is switched off. How do I access the fuel pump and how easy are they to replace.
Kind Regards

Dear David,
Don't just concentrate on the fuel pump as this could well be the relay that feeds the power to it. We have known these fail often. The relay is located in the battery area, which as you know is at the bottom of the passenger foot well. The fuel pump is bolted to the chassis on the passenger side just ahead of the rear axle. Also check the wiring in case something got chucked up from under the car and caused some damage.
Please let me know if you want any more information?
Regards
Julian
