Martin Luethi, who lives in Switzerland, has a 1996 Chimaera 400 with 35,000kms on the clock and found that the car was becoming more and more difficult to start, as well as progressively losing power from the engine
Andrew Hume has a 1977 Chimaera with 37,000 miles on the clock. The complaint here is one of noisy tappets, and Martin wonders if this is anything he shoule be worried about.
Colin Martin has a 1998 TVR Chimaera 5-Litre, and during a service, had a reconditioned starter motor fitted to try and counter an intermittent starting problem. The new part turned out to be a worse problem.
