Royal Mail

It has been for some time now that Ride Drive has not been satisfied with the level of service promised by Royal Mail. Letters go missing all too often and some take too long to arrive at their intended destination.

The postal workers dispute of October 2009 has prompted the decision that Ride Drive will now, wherever possible, send correspondence by email – even after the postal workers dispute is over. We cannot continue to rely upon an inefficient service.

In every case the Ride Drive customer (private and corporate) will be asked to supply an email address suitable for the delivery of document attachments and will only receive correspondence by post if that is specifically requested.

The 2009 postal dispute has merely brought forward an already considered policy.
