At Ride Drive we have developed a unique advanced rider training programme that has been accredited as a National Framework Level-3 training course by the Open College Network (OCN), a leading figurehead in the development and accreditation of learning and training courses. Comprising of a 3-Day programme, The Complete Advanced Rider’s Course is delivered as a disciplined programme of practical on-road riding skills development and assessment, as well as through classroom based theory sessions to provide each candidate with a thorough understanding of the principles of approved advanced riding methods.

The course explains and demonstrates advanced techniques and is intended to compliment an existing level of riding skill and experience. Unlike the methods used by many other training companies, many of whom seem to believe all riders should be moulded into the same shape, by contrast The Complete Advanced Rider’s Course has a totally flexible apporach and is a training package that can be built around the needs and aspirations of the individual.




Delivered by our team of qualified police class-one advanced riders the course begins with a period of theory training that covers the essential components associated with advanced riding methods. These will include overtaking, cornering, observation, bend assessment, control, hazard management, as well as cutting through a lot of the myths associated with what advanced riding is supposed to be.

The theory day is followed by two full days of intensive on-road rider training that will take you through each element of the programme. You rtrainer will work closely with you, making sure that all points are understood and learning outcomes achieved.  The beauty of this course is that whilst it maintains a high standard in advanced rider training it still remains flexible enough so as to be tailored to the needs of the individual, and so fulfil specified requirements.

• To develop a high level of knowledge of each candidate in both a practical and theory based learning environments
