Dear Julian,

Just a quick note to you and Paul to say thank for your organising my Ride Drive training session at such short notice; the Friday before last (6th June).

I wanted to do this before I went away to North Wales for a TVRCC weekend where I was on my own in the car, driving the Evo triangle, the horseshoe pass, and some other equally revered roads, the names of which escape me – I was too busy concentrating!

I got back last night after an exhausting trip, but I loved every minute of it, and certainly held my own in the driving stakes!  People within our group commented on how well I drove the Cerbera for someone who had never “done” twisty roads before, and congratulated me on the way I took the corners – I may have even sold one of the wives a course after she said I drove like a demon!!  My fears of holding up the group were not to be realised!

Much of the praise should be re-directed to you guys, as I wouldn’t have been able to do it without your input, so I’m redressing the balance and saying a big THANK YOU for giving me the skill and confidence to nail the bends!  However, you may be getting a letter of complaint from my other half when he realises I’m not giving him the keys back….!!
