What do you do when the engine blows up in your pride and joy sports car? Do you just repair or replace it, or do you go to town and have an engine specially built to take the place of the standard equipment. This was the decision facing Graham Jeffs with his TVR Giriffith 500, and after the engine gave up the ghost during a holiday in France. However, the change to the engine wasn't the only upgrade to be made to the car, as it seems that once you start, it is difficult to know where to finish.
