Hi BW, Part-2 is being written up at this time and will appear on these pages next week.  Glad you enjoyed it and I hope you will enjoy the next part as much.

Part-2, another good story.  I have travelled to the States on business a few times and usually have a hire car to get about in. I must admit that vehicles in use over there do nothing to inspire, but then I wondered if that is something to do with the straight roads?  I drive a reasonably potent car over here, and much of the pleasure I get from the car is driving on good driving roads.  Out there in the States you could have the most expensive and the most powerful sports car ever, but if all you can do is drive on their boring straight roads then you might as well have a SUV ? unless you are a poser that is?

I think that Americans are more inspired by something that is rugged, beefy looking and is high off the ground.  Probably why they get so excited over Hummer?s (which do nothing for me).

Anyway, thanks for that.  Good photo?s too.

I only joined this forum yesterday, but have got well hooked into all these articles.  Thought I would just have a read through for 5 minutes and then a hour later I thought I should be doing soemthing else.

I won't comment on each one, but will just say I think this is all brilliant stuff.

Well done Ride Drive.

Thanks Axletramp, I know what you mean about time on computer, I sit down to try and write this stuff and half a day passes! Best, Bob Y.
