The Y03PM option is an exciting and action-packed 8-hour day that has the same content as the full-day advanced road driving programme (S02PM), but with the addition of a visit to one of our approved skid prevention and control facilities. By completing this option it will allow you the opportunity to not only begin the development of your road driving skills to a higher level of accuracy and smoothness, but also to give you the confidence to drive your car in poor road and weather conditions. Depending upon the area of the country in which you complete the programme you may either use a wet surface skidpan, or on an all-weather facility with a specially prepared skid car.

The whole day not only gives you a mix of different road driving environments and will help you to develop your road driving skills to a level whereby every jourrney you make will be complete with confidence and ease, and with more of what if happening around you being within your control.
It will be through the completion of this programme that you develop a very close driver and machine relationship with your car so that can always realise the very best from it in terms of your ownership experience.
Advanced driving isn’t about achieving a top speed, as it is more intelligent than that. It is about developing your ability to a level whereby no matter what the driving environment, or the speed at which you are travelling, you will always be in a position to deal effectively with anything that you encounter on the road, and to remain both safe and in control.
N.B. Ride Drive do not run purely skid prevention and control courses, and all skid car sessions are delivered as an integral part of an advanced road driving programme.
