The First Step Advanced Driving Course is a driver-training package that is accredited by a figurehead in training and education, the National Open College Network (NOCN) and can be effectively applied to drivers of cars, passenger carrying and commercial vehicles.

This is a National Framework Level-2 course, whilst it represents an entry level to our range of accredited advanced driver training courses, it is by no means basic in its content.  Through a process of assessment and development any driver who successfully completes The First Step Advanced Driving Course will have attained a secure level of understanding of the type of vehicle they drive and of how to operate it safely and effectively within a public road environment.

The course consists of an 8-hour training period and has clear objectives.  It is comprehensive in its content and is delivered with energy and enthusiasm, focusing on key areas of driving competencies.  It is also totally flexible in that it can be tailored for the development of individual needs, as well as used to address more general training issues.
