It is announced today that not only can the Ride Drive customer develop their skills to an advanced level, and so add a whole new dimension to their road driving experience, but they can now gain recognition for their effort by qualifying for a worthy discount against the cost of their motor insurance.
Julian Smith, Director at Ride Drive Limited, explains, “For years I have been relentlessly knocking on insurance company doors trying to find one to not only accept that developing driving skills to an advanced level equates to a significantly reduced level of risk, but who were prepared to reward those who voluntarily develop their skills by offering a substantial discount against their insurance premiums. This has now been achieved, and through a new partnership between Ride Drive and Adrian Flux Insurance, whether on four-wheels or on two, the motorist can now earn an impressive 25% discount from the normal annual premium rate."
Craig Darwin, spokesman for Adrian Flux insurance adds, “There is a strong public perception that insurance industry is always taking and never giving, as can be seen here, is not the case. We have taken the innovative approach to reward those motorists who are prepared to raise their skill level through successfully completing the Ride Drive programme, as we feel this demonstrates a healthy driver attitude towards road safety and responsible driving.”
No doubt some will view this will scepticism, thinking there is some hidden charge or the scheme isn’t as good as it looks, but they will be wrong. “We want this to be totally transparent,” says Darwin. “If we can build up a pool of customers who are not making claims then that will be the great success we are hoping for, which means we can afford to reduce annual premiums for those who support the scheme.” |
