Motor Insurance Discount Scheme Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions are issued by Ride Drive and apply to the Ride Drive⁄Adrian Flux motor insurance discount scheme.

1 – To qualify for inclusion within the Ride Drive⁄Adrian Flux motor insurance discount scheme the following terms and conditions will need to be fulfilled.

2 – The Ride Drive customer must complete a listed Ride Drive advanced driving, or advanced motorcycle riding course, that consists of an accumulated training period of not less than 8–hours and be a course featured upon the Ride Drive official website as being an advanced driving or motorcycle rider training course fit for this purpose.

3 – The Ride Drive customer, in so undertaking a scheme approved advanced driving or motorcycle rider training course for the purpose of benefitting from the Ride Drive⁄Adrian Flux motor insurance discount scheme, must submit to a driver risk assessment that forms part of the scheme approved advanced driving or motorcycle rider training course.

4 – Any Ride Drive customer, having completed a scheme approved advanced driving or motorcycle rider training course, during the driver risk assessment process must display a standard of driving or riding skills so as to be classified as representing a level of collision risk that is estimated to be a significantly low level of risk potential of being involved in a Road Traffic Collision of their own causing. Where this criteria has been met, a Ride Drive advanced driving or motorcycle riding certificate will be issued.

5 – Any Ride Drive customer who has been awarded with a Ride Drive advanced driving or motorcycle riding certificate, when making application to Adrian Flux Insurance Services to buy a motor policy under the terms of the Ride Drive⁄Adrian Flux special motor insurance discount scheme, upon demand shall produce a

valid Ride Drive advanced driving or motorcycle riding certificate, as issued to them and in their own name, and a driver risk assessment report, also as issued by Ride Drive Limited.

6 – Any Ride Drive customer intending to take advantage of the Adrian Flux⁄Ride Drive motor insurance discount scheme shall only be permitted to take such advantage if that customer is legitimately in possession of a valid Ride Drive advanced driving or motorcycle riding certificate and driver risk assessment that relates to the successful completion of a Ride Drive advanced driving or motorcycle rider training course, and that course corresponded to the same classification of vehicle they seek to insure.

7 – Any Ride Drive customer, intending to take advantage of the discount benefits offered by the Adrian Flux⁄Ride Drive special motor insurance discount scheme, shall be required to pay the sum of thirty pounds, as well as the addition of the required amount equal to the prevailing rate of Value Added Tax, to Ride Drive limited. This fee is only payable upon the completion of a Ride Drive advanced driving or motorcycle rider training course during which the collision risk assessment has a positive outcome.

8 – Any Ride Drive customer, when entering into the Adrian Flux⁄Ride Drive discount motor insurance scheme, shall understand that any admin fee relating to the collision risk assessment shall be payable in addition to the fees as required to be paid for the actual advanced driving or motorcycle rider training course of which the driver risk assessment process forms part and whether the outcome of such a driver risk assessment has a successful outcome or not.

9 – Any Ride Drive customer who qualifies for the benefits of the Ride Drive⁄Adrian Flux special discount motor insurance scheme, by virtue of being favourably assessed in relation to collision risk, providing that all criteria is satisfied in relation to that persons inclusion within the motor insurance discount scheme in terms of the required documentary evidence being in order, they will be afforded a discount price amounting to a deduction of up to 20% from the quoted renewal price from their existing policy provider, excluding all taxes and other lawfully required premium supplements.

10 – Any Ride Drive customer intending to take advantage of the Adrian Flux⁄Ride Drive special motor insurance discount scheme shall understand that delivery of the related advanced driving or motorcycle rider training course, as well as the benefits of the scheme, will only take place within the mainland UK, and that such delivery of services will be subject to geographical availability.

11 – The Ride Drive terms and conditions relating to the administration of the processes required to be completed under the Ride Drive⁄Adrian Flux motor insurance discount scheme shall be in addition to the
Ride Drive General Terms and Conditions policy.
